Phone Guide

The telephone system is designed to route all incoming calls at Framingham Animal Hospital. When you call (508) 877-0900, you will hear a standard voice message with multiple options. Please press one of the following numbers to route your call to the appropriate area:

Press 1 – Liaison Line – to leave an update for the doctor regarding your pets non-emergency progress, or if you have a general question. When you reach the answering machine, please leave a detailed message and leave your name and phone number and we will return your call with the information you requested.

Press 2 – Appointment Line – to schedule a routine appointment, call during the hours of 10 – 1, or 2:30 – 5, Monday through Friday. If you reach the answering machine, please leave a message and we will return your call after 10 am Monday through Friday. No one is available to receive your scheduling call on Saturdays.

Press 3 – Pharmacy Line – to reorder pet medications and foods during the hours of 10 – 1, or 2:30 -5 Monday through Friday. If you reach the answering machine, please leave a message and we will return your call after 10 am Monday through Friday. No one is available to receive your scheduling call on Saturdays.

Press 4 – Emergency Line – if you have a pet emergency, if you feel your pet must be seen today, or if you are a Veterinary Specialist calling to speak with a doctor.

Press 5 – Business Office Line – to reach the Business Office regarding billing, accounting, or inventory questions.

Press 0 – Operator Line – to reach a receptionist.

If you are unsure of the appropriate button to press, the receptionist will route your call. If you know your party’s extension, you may press it at any time. All phones are monitored on a regular basis during office hours and you will receive a call if you leave your name and number.
